What does the Introduction To Making Music course cost and what do I get?
Our Introduction To Making Music course is aimed at beginners and people with no prior music production knowledge. It can be accessed as a one-off payment with lifetime access for £150, or £55 per month on our VIP tier.
The content is spread across 8 modules (20 full lessons) over the space of 6.5 hours.
The course covers a range of subjects including how to use Ableton Live, create drums, synths and basslines, arrange, mix and master tracks.
What does the Standard Studio Orbit monthly membership cost and what do I get?
Our standard membership costs £45 per month on a rolling contract and gives you access to the following features;

Our VIP membership costs £55 per month on a rolling contract and gives you access to the following features.

As a VIP member, you also get monthly track feedback on two of your tracks per month in the form of a video, and the ability to share music in the Discord for feedback from other members. How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership tier?
You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time on the Account page by hitting ‘Change Plan’ next to your active Subscription on the ‘Subscriptions’ page under the ‘Membership’ tab. This works for monthly, 6 monthly and annual plans. You will pay the difference on a pro-rata basis when upgrading.
How can I join the Studio Orbit community?
When you sign up for our short course, or one of our rolling memberships, you will be given a link to join the Studio Orbit Discord channel in your welcome email. Email us at support@studioorbit.org if you're having difficulty finding this link.
How can I access your mobile/tablet app?
Our app is available for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and other tablets and devices via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Search the App Stores for 'Studio Orbit'. You can download it for free and use your usual login.
From the app you'll be able to access track breakdowns, tutorials, studio sessions, track feedback sessions, features, courses you're enrolled on, your account settings and you'll be able to submit tracks for feedback right from your device, wherever you are.
How does the track feedback system work?
As a member of the VIP tier, you can get access to 2x track feedback opportunities per month.
There are 2 windows for track feedback in the month. Track feedback is uploaded in 2 pre-recorded group video sessions on the 10th and 25th of each month. You can upload your track via the upload form on the app and website.
You can submit 1 track per block as below;
Block 1: Submissions open 1st - 9th of each month
Block 2: Submissions open 10th - 24th of each month
Can I get discount on plugins and hardware as a member of Studio Orbit?
Yes! After enrolling on one of our courses or being part of a rolling membership, you can get access to exclusive discount from our growing list of partners (including D16, XLN Audio and BopDJ). For information on how to get access to the discount, log in on Studio Orbit and head over to the 'Account' page and then select 'Discounts & Deals' under the Membership tab.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
If you have a monthly, 6 monthly or 12 monthly membership on Studio Orbit, you can pause and resume your membership at any time using the Account page on the website. In addition, you can permanently cancel.
I want a refund for my course or membership
Any refunds are made entirely at our discretion. We do not offer refunds for monthly, 6 monthly or annual memberships if you forget to cancel. These memberships are rolling, and in order to stop payments you must pause or cancel.
What payment methods do we take?
When creating an account and paying for a membership or course, you can select either Stripe or PayPal as a payment platform. Stripe accepts most major international credit and debit cards. We also accept Klarna payments for our one-off purchases such as our Introduction To Making Music course.
What are your Terms and Conditions?
These are Studio Orbit's terms of use, and they apply to all users of the Studio Orbit website and online community.
“We” refers to Studio Orbit Limited. “Studio Orbit” refers to this website and the services offered by us.
As a user of the service you agree not to;
- Illegally record, download or re-distribute video or other content from the platform without permission
- Sell, lend or otherwise transfer your subscription or login information
- Use the platform or community to illegally distribute plugins, samples or other materials
- Post negative, discriminatory, hateful or racist comments, messages or material in the community or on the website
- Use the platform or community to harass, abuse or mock anyone
- Post messages or content anywhere linked to the platform that is considered by us to be inappropriate, harassing, violent, sexual or obscene
- Create accounts with inappropriate or offensive usernames
We reserve the right to cancel and delete any membership (without refund) if we believe any of the above terms are not met.
Refunds are entirely at our sole discretion. We do not offer refunds for monthly, 6 monthly or annual memberships if you forget to cancel. These memberships are rolling, and in order to stop payments you must pause or cancel.
When pausing or cancelling memberships, this comes into effect for your next payment. PayPal or Stripe may present additional fees, this is not controlled by us.
We reserve the right to change pricing plans of any of our subscriptions, courses, services or products. We will inform members of any price changes by email and on the Discord.
Offers are on a first transaction basis (e.g. first month, first 6 months), when your contract rolls over to the next cycle, you will be charged at the full rate unless stated otherwise. You must pause or cancel if you don't want to be charged in the next cycle. Refunds are not offered if you forget to cancel.
How can I delete my account and all of my data?
If you wish to completely delete your account from our system, please send an email with your request to support@studioorbit.org
